Funding Successful!

Thanks to all of you for a very successful campaign!  We are so excited to take this project and run with it to make it a reality.  We will be posting in the coming weeks to let you know what the next steps are for the project and to keep you in the loop on how production is proceeding.

$50 K Unlocking Soon!

We are at $48,000 with just one day left and we are very hopeful we can get to that last $50 k stretch goal.  Remember, backers can add an extra copy or two of the game for just $18 more, each.  You can also add $10 for all 3 bonus expansions, or $4 per expansion if you just want one or two of them and not all 3.  We are hopeful with these add on opportunities that we will get even more of you to help us push the campaign over the edge!  But we're not through yet...

So with that in mind we are adding one more last-minute stretch goal AND a realistic way to achieve it, even with a day left!

$55 K Stretch Goal!

Are we crazy?  Maybe.  But we think we can hit $55 k with your help.  We'll get to the HOW of that soon enough, but first the what.  If we can hit $55 k then we will give every backer of the game a free bonus/promo card with every copy of the game you pledge for at no extra cost.  

I should say up front that this promo card is just for fun and NOT an integral part of the game in any way.  It is a cross-promotion card that can be used in both Garbage Day and our most popular Kickstarter ever, Viceroy.  The rules and details of the card will follow later, but the card will be free and included with every set of every copy of the game you pledge for, so if you pledge for 3 copies then each copy will get this bonus card.

 Play Mat Add On

Now how on earth can we possibly get to $55 k?  Simple, PLAYMATS.  We are offering each of you the opportunity to get up to 7 Playmats for your game.  These playmats are NOT required at all, and are quite large at 8 X 11 inches each, just a bit smaller than a standard sheet of paper (8.5 X 11 inches in the USA, about the size of A2 Paper everywhere else).  These large playmats will retail for $15 but you can get them for $10 each, (+$2 shipping for the first mat + $1 shipping for each additional mat outside of the USA).   

The mat we really recommend is the "Kitchen Mat" which will be the central mat that the garbage can will sit on during game play.  It will really add to the theme and the artwork is amazing.  Just at $10 for the mat w/in the USA or $12 for this mat outside the USA.  

We will have 6 more playmats, one for each player including the bonus 6th player that all of you can play as in the game too.  You can get just the ones you want at the same price ($10 each +$1 for shipping international after the first mat).  

We haven't finished the art of each mat but this will show you some of the ideas and look/feel of each mat:

9.5 x 8.5 inches is the tentative size for the 6 Player Mats:  

-1 BLUE room (possibly space-themed as shown above)

-1 GREEN room (possibly rock music themed)

-1 RED room (possibly animal themed)

-1 PURPLE room (possibly video game themed) 

-1 YELLOW room (possibly sports themed)

-1 PINK room (possibly doll themed)

If you want all of the mats then just pledge for 5 of them and get two free.  That is $50 for all 7 mats.  Outside the USA add +$8 shipping for the 7 mats, so $58 total for international backers.

We know these will not going to be for everyone, but they will be AMAZING and very fun!  We hope you enjoy them and that they will make the game even better and more immersive.  

Please consider adding extra funds to your pledge to help us reach our final $55 K stretch goal, and get some great add-ons in the process!

Add Ons

Effective IMMEDIATELY, you can add any of the following expansions to your pledge for just $4 each, or pick up all 3 of these great expansions for just $12 (yes we know $4 X 3 = $12!). Remember, each of these expansions will retail for $8 each but you can save big by adding them to your existing pledge now!

Just add $4 for any of these or $12 for all 3, yes you can add as many expansions as you have sets of the game (so limit 3 per backer at most). After the campaign is finished we will email you a survey and ask what the extra funds are for, at which point you can tell us which expansions you pledged for!

New Stretch Goal Announcement

If we get to $50 K then all backers who want all three sets of expansions (Dorm, Family and Office) can get all three expansions for just $10 rather than $12! Yes the retail will be $8 per expansion so this is a steal!  We believe we will reach this goal and encourage all of you to add funds and consider adding another copy of the game to your pledges to help us reach this goal!

Stretch Goal Update!

We have heard you loud and clear, there is no point in unlocking 3-4 cards at a time when we can unlock whole expansions in this project!  We are so excited to announce that we have totally changed the stretch goals!  Now at $35,000 we will unlock the entire OFFICE EXPANSION and at $40,000 we will unlock the entire Family Expansion!  You can get either for $4 each as backers.  Do do this you just increase your pledge by $4 (or $8 for both) but keep your reward selection unchanged.  

We fully expect to reach these quickly and encourage you to adjust your pledges now to help us get to those goals too!  We have another expansion waiting in the wings too, so please up those pledges and if you want extra copies of the game add that +$18 per copy (limit 2 extra copies).
